Neil did not update the web pages for 21 and 22, so here is a very brief summary.
We started 2021 living in a condo in Canmore, having just committed to buying our new house in Quathiaski Cove, on Quadra Island in British Columbia.
In February, we drove our RV and car to Vancouver Island and stayed in the Bates Beach campground near Comox, until we could move into our new house on Quadra in March 2021.
Climbing down the trail Summer 2021 was a mix of getting installed in the house, and getting to know the area.

Neil hiked the North Coast Trail, Westbound, with André and Heather Poirier.  It was slow, muddy,  and rough for the first two days then two good days.  All three agreed the best way would be to start at the West end, hike till the trail got too rough, and then back.
Log bridge The log bridges on the trail were impressive, as were some spots so steep that we appreciated the fixed ropes set there.
Helen in TikalThe ruins, and their history, are fascinating.  Lots of info on the web. Ruiin rising from the jungleIn Winter 2020/21 we did not launch Milvina, since she was stuck on shore by the Rio Dulce in Guatemala by the Covid restrictions.
At the end of 2021 we went down and worked a lot and sailed a few months in Belize and the Bay Islands of Honduras.  One highlight was a few days at the amazing Mayan ruins in Tikal.
We found the Rio Dulce one of the most fun places we have laid up to work on Milvina.  Good restaurants, interesting scenery, good neighbours,  and wildlife around.
One of our favourite restaurants has only two tables, and no menu.  You eat what the host offers.
